How I work
Our Initial Meeting
My Initial consultation for psychotherapy may take place during one or over several sessions which may last up to an hour. One of the main aims of the consultation process is for us to meet, for me to try to understand what is troubling you and how this is affecting you & your relationships. It also offers you a chance to ask any questions you may have and will give us an opportunity to explore whether you feel that I am the right therapist for you. Our initial meetings therefore offer you a therapeutic experience over one or several sessions.
The Covid-19 outbreak has impacted on how we live & work in many ways. I am currently unable to offer face to face sessions. However, I am able to offer sessions by telephone and several online platforms.
Our Regular Appointments
I offer 50 minute sessions at the same time each week in a safe, modern & comfortable consulting room.
I offer:
• open ended psychodynamic psychotherapy. The length of the therapy will be discussed as we proceed.
• short term dynamic psychotherapeutic counselling consisting of 12 or more sessions.
I will endeavour to respond to your enquiry within one-two working days.
Costs
Psychotherapy sessions with me are charged at £60.00 (daytime) & £65.00 (6pm onwards).

Reduced fees are available on request for those on benefits or low income. Please feel free to discuss this with me.
